Tap the side of your hand (karate chop point) and say 3 times:

“Even though I have this (problem ie: “craving”), I deeply and completely accept myself.”

You can swap in any issue:

  • “this hunger”

  • “this urge to snack”

  • “this lack of motivation to move my body”

  • “this desire for sugar”

  • “This craving for pizza”

Step 3️⃣ The Tapping Sequence

Tap each point 7–10 times while repeating the issue (ie: “this craving”):

  • Eyebrow

  • Side of eye

  • Under eye

  • Under nose

  • Chin

  • Collarbone

  • Under arm

  • Top of head

Other examples are:

“This hunger”

“This tired feeling”

“This lack of motivation”

Step 4️⃣ Re-rate and tap more, if needed

Check your number again.

If the problem is still rating high enough to cause you emotional or physical distress, do another round or two of tapping. Use the same statement. (ie: “this craving”) until you feel the issue is resolved.

If the immediate issue does not clear within two or three rounds, you can focus on the remaining problem. Run the tapping series again, beginning with the set up. This time you will say “Even though I still have some of this(problem), I deeply and completely accept myself. “

During the tapping sequence, insert the phrase “this remaining (problem).“

For example: “this remaining craving”

When the problem intensity has significantly decreased to where it is no longer an issue, proceed to the Positive Suggestions.

Step 5️⃣ Positive Suggestions
